Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair takes place at MoMA PS1 from September 11 to 14, with an Opening Night celebration on Thursday, September 11 from 7 to 10 PM.
The 2025 NY Art Book Fair marks an exciting and long-awaited return to MoMA PS1, where it was held from 2009 to 2019, a pivotal decade that established NYABF as a cornerstone for the distribution of artists’ books and the preeminent gathering point for celebrating the form. This partnership exemplifies a shared commitment to creating spaces where audiences can engage with new ideas and perspectives, and reaffirms Printed Matter’s core mission dedicated to the dissemination, understanding, and appreciation of artists’ books.
NYABF 2025 will feature over 250 exhibitors, including interdisciplinary artistic practices, collectives, small presses, self-publishing artists, rare book dealers, institutions, and distributors. NYABF also offers a discursive platform for engagement in the field of artists’ book publishing through book launches, lectures, exhibitions, discussions, performances, and workshops.
Printed Matter, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1976 by artists and art workers with the mission to foster the distribution, understanding, and appreciation of artists' books and related artists' publications.
